Banner Public Affairs has been appointed to represent the Brewers Association (BA)—the not-for-profit trade association dedicated to small and independent American brewers—in support of its 2019 legislative initiatives.  Banner will oversee and execute public relations activities for the Brewers Association in an extension of its existing BA government relations efforts. The public relations efforts will be led by Maggie McClain, vice president of communications at Banner, and will include federal and trade media relations activities, as well as brand awareness and event support in the Beltway.

Glen Echo Group promoted six: Amy Schatz to Vice President, Anne Keeney to Senior Associate, Courtney Cowper to Director, Cyrus Rassool to Director, Nick Calderon to Senior Associate and Tana Bosshard to Director.

Linda Roth Associates promoted Avery Lewis to Assistant Vice President. According to a release, Lewis “has been an integral part of the team since joining the company in 2013. Her exemplary leadership skills in prominent account management, and development and execution of effective public relations and marketing strategies have resulted in successes for clients that have included Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Long Shot Hospitality, Table 95 Hospitality, and Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, including its annual RAMMY Awards Gala.”

TSN Communications added Adrianna Yameen as marketing and communications manager. “I am thrilled to join the outstanding team at TSN Communications to expand the company’s brand and help serve our clients’ needs,” said Kansas City-based Yameen.  A broadcast journalist and news producer since 2008, Yameen has  worked for multiple television stations, including WUSA in Washington, D.C.. According to its website, the Oak Hill, Va, PR firm is “a virtual agency, no brick and mortar, no expensive offices, no marble conference tables, just people that wanted a better work/life balance.”
