D.C.-Area Production of “In the Heights” Raises More than $100K for Hurricane Relief

by | Oct 26, 2017

The Round House Theatre and Olney Theatre Center co-production of In The Heights was a sold-out hit that, stated a release, “inspired and electrified audiences enthralled to Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes’ stories of life in the tight-knit Washington Heights neighborhood.

“”We’re so proud of this production, the creative team that brought it to life, and the ensemble that lived it every night for seven weeks.”

At the end of each performance, cast members asked the audience to donate money for hurricane relief and by the end of the run they had raised over $105,000.
