Margery Kraus, founder of APCO in D.C., is featured in a “What Made Me” profile in the October issue of Washingtonian magazine.  She started her professional career as a high-school civics teacher, and states that the best advice she can give is”  “Don’t have your life so planned that you can’t take opportunities that come along.”

D.C.-based Delucchi Plus, appointed Stephanie Orton Lynch its executive vice president. In this newly created role, Lynch will be part of the executive team. Previously, she was the firm’s VP/communications.

Gary Jonas has died.  From 1988 to 1993, he served as president and CEO of Earle Palmer Brown, a major communications firm, now closed, that was based in Bethesda.
