D.C.-Area Updates: Van Eperen & Company, Frost Miller Group and Linda Roth Associates

by | Oct 6, 2014

Van Eperen & Company in Rockville, Md, will promote the fourth-annual Washington West Film Festival which runs from Oct. 22-26. VE & Co. will help Washington West Film Festival raise its visibility among key players in the arts and entertainment scene in the D.C., area, as well as help drive attendance to its week-long schedule of events. Launched in 2010, Washington West Film Festival is the only film festival in the world that gives 100 percent of its regular screening box-office net proceeds to a selected charity each year. Through the festival, its team has raised thousands of dollars in aid to support the causes of eliminating child poverty around the world, helping families recover from the destruction of natural disasters and assisting the homeless in finding food and shelter in the D.C. area.

Frost Miller Group in Bethesda added Heather Meyer as account strategist. Meyer has both agency and in-house marketing experience. During her time as a marketing associate at First Potomac Realty Trust, Meyer created and maintained the corporate marketing budget and spearheaded the firm’s brand update. Meyer began her career at Hisoka Public Relations moving later to Legal & General America where she ran large-scale incentive travel programs and created branded collateral materials.

Linda Roth Associates, Inc., added Ashley Abed as publicist, and Mary Cline as PR coordinator. Abed joined LRA from Brustman Carrino Public Relations in Miami, while Cline recently completed a Master’s program in Global Luxury Management from North Carolina State University.
