D.C.-based ad agency RTC has rebranded to Wunderman. The new identity, said a release, “reflects the desire to leverage the expansive resources of parent company Wunderman and, more specifically, its Wunderman World Health offering. RTC’s healthcare teams in the District of Columbia, New York and Chicago will align under Wunderman World Health, adding significant depth and strength to the global division.”
As part of the rebranding, President Jeff Ross will expand his role to chief client officer, Wunderman World Health.
“We made the move now to better position us to take advantage of the expanding health and wellness categories,” said Ross. “Alignment with Wunderman jump-starts our ability to connect to Wunderman’s global resources and international geographic footprint.”
RTC opened its doors 48 years ago and it was the second agency WPP acquired in 1987. Since joining Wunderman in 2002, stated a release, it has grown in size and capabilities.
