The Washington, D.C., chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMADC) announced that it is now the third-largest AMA chapter in the country. The growth, stated a release, is the result of the chapter’s “ongoing commitment to reorganize itself to support members with a new professional development slate of events and enhanced resources.”
The organization is also launching a new web site developed by Unleashed Technologies in partnership with AMADC Agency of Record Bates Creative and The Gigawatt Group. The site, continued the release, “has been transformed to ensure that AMADC members can locate information easily, connect with one another and find events that align with their respective interests and experience.”
“In March, we announced the creation of three new professional education tracks which had been created for young professionals, mid-managers and executives ,” said Mike Gardner, president of AMADC. “Interest and participation in each of these tracks has exceeded expectations. We’ve reorganized the AMADC web site to support the restructuring of the organization and make it easy for members to find what they’re looking for, using their desktop, tablet, or mobile device.”
