D.C. Communicator Updates: Blair Jackson, Leigh George and The AD Agency

Blair Jackson joined the American Health Care Association in D.C. as VP of public affairs for the trade group of nursing homes and assisted living providers, reports O’Dwyer’s. Jackson, continued the O’Dwyer’s report, was VP/corporate communications for nursing home giant Golden Living, based in Plano, Tex., and assistant VP for PR at CVSHealth predecessor AdvancePCS; plus he did stints at Arc Worldwide (group supervisor), Golin (president and Philadelphia GM), Rogers & Cowan, FleishmanHillard and Burson-Marsteller.

Leigh George is profiled in Washingtonian’s MOM’s magazine. The full-page article notes that she is one of only a handful of people in the country with a PhD in branding history and theory.  Current, she is director of marketing at URAC, described as the leader in accreditation for pharmacy, case management and health plans;  and has worked at  Social@Ogilvy and R2integrated.  (She also has been profiled in Capitol Communicator’s “up close and personal” profile series which you can see in Profiles.

The AD Agency moved to 1101 Connecticut Ave, Suite 450, in D.C.
