DC Ad Club won eight Club Achievement Awards – one in each category of competition – in the American Advertising Federation’s annual national competition.

The competition is segmented by club size and DC Ad Club competes against other ad clubs and federations from across the country that have 500 or more members. DC Ad Club won second place in Communications, Membership Development, Programs, and Public Service; and third place in Advertising Education, Club Operations, Diversity and Multicultural Initiatives, and Government Relations.

“These awards highlight the success of our members-only Forward Focus series, the continued growth of Advertising Week DC, the impact of our GoodWorks committee, and the other efforts by our volunteer leaders who work hard to elevate the communications industry in DC,” said Greg Kihlström, president of DC Ad Club.

The awards were presented at the AAF National Conference, ADMERICA! 2015, on June 13 in Las Vegas, NV.
