Facebook will unveil a news notifications app dubbed “Notify” next week in partnership with some high-profile media brands, reports TheWrap.
TheWrap report, in part, also stated:
“CNN, Mashable, CBS News, The Washington Post and Vogue are the inaugural partners for the app.
“Notify will feature “content from a range of print, digital and video companies,” the Financial Times reported.
“The standalone app will refer users back to the sites of the media organizations that have published a breaking story.
“The new Facebook app joins an increasingly crowded field of social and tech initiatives to aggregate and create news.”
