The firm behind the Las Vegas slogan “What Happens Here, Stays Here” has been brought in to lead branding strategy for the yet-to-open MGM National Harbor, a $1.3 billion resort at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland, reports Washington Business Journal.
The WBJ report stated that “MGM Resorts International has tapped D.C.-based R&R Resources+, a certified minority-owned business, and Las Vegas-based R&R Partners to lead brand development and marketing efforts for MGM National Harbor. R&R Resources+, led by former Nevada Rep. Steven Horsford, will focus on diversity marketing, corporate social responsibility, workforce strategy, public relations and social media. The Las Vegas-based R&R Partners, MGM’s media agency of record, will help to craft a travel and tourism marketing blueprint for the mega resort overlooking the Potomac River.”
