There are many ways to decide the right time to send emails. But the most accurate measure is engagement, reports Email Marketing Daily.
By that gauge, continues the Email Marketing Daily, “the optimal time is between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., and from noon to 3 p.m., judging by The Best Time To Send An Email, a newly updated study by Hubspot.
“But it varies by segment.
“Of those polled, 30.9% of B2C marketers said engagement is best between 9 to noon. But 47.9% of the B2B respondents said the same thing.
“Specifically, the study found that these are the best times:
- 6 AM-9 AM — 11.3%
- 9 AM-12 PM — 34.9%
- 12 PM-3 PM — 27.6%
- 3 PM-6 PM — 18.3%
- 6 PM-9 PM — 6.6%
- 9 PM-12 AM — 1.3%
“Of course, this is hardly an exact science.”
