idfive, an integrated marketing and communications agency based in Baltimore, won three gold awards, two silver awards and a special judges award at this year’s Baltimore American Advertising Awards Show, known within the industry as the Addys.

idfive, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, showcased its range of expertise as a full-service agency with awards in multiple online and offline categories including: Out-of-Home Single Installation, Online/Interactive Microsite, Publication Design Book, Integrated Campaign and Sales & Marketing Speciality Advertising Merchandise.

Among idfive’s Gold Awards was a website created to celebrate Whitman, Requardt & Associates’ centennial year. The site, also honored recently by Communication Arts, highlights projects from the engineering and architectural firm’s hundred-year history and conveys the impact each project has had on American history and culture.

Silver Awards included idfive’s Pay It Furward campaign for the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter’s end-of-year fundraising drive. The campaign helped to raise over $250,000 for the shelter in December.

“It’s an amazing honor to be recognized for doing great work for great clients,” said idfive’s EVP of Strategy and Co-Founder Andres Zapata. “It’s humbling that what we—and our clients—have known for a long time is also being recognized by our peers in the creative community. 2015 was a huge year for us across the board.”

“When you look at these awards as a whole, they align perfectly with what we believe in as an agency,” added idfive Creative Director Matt McDermott. “The variety of the categories and campaigns we were honored for shows that we not only create amazing work, but that we do it for all of our clients—regardless of budget, industry, medium or brand.”

In addition to idfive’s recent wins at the awards show hosted by the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore, the agency has added several new members to build its 30-person team. idfive has also won several new clients in Baltimore and across the country, and was awarded for its company culture, smart growth, and marketing work in higher education over the past year.
