Washington Women in Public Relations will honor three young women, June 16, at WWPR’s sixth annual Emerging Leaders Awards (ELA).  The awards recognize extraordinary young women who have made a significant impact on the communications industry. The six finalists are:

  1. Shannon Toher, The Yu Crew LLC
  2. Elaine Seward, American Chemical Society
  3. Emily Rasowsky, Social Driver
  4. Jamie Nolan, U.S. Department of Energy
  5. Cecily Naron, Hager Sharp
  6. Sarah Coppersmith, Scott Circle

From the six finalists, three will receive an ELA award.  The awards will be presented at Ketchum’s office in Washington, D.C.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Laura Howe, vice president of public relations at American Red Cross.
