After signing a variety of new big-name clients – including seven liquor brands in the William Grant & Sons portfolio – and continued work with Kroger, Facebook, Sheetz and others – iStrategyLabs recently relocated to new office space: The entire first floor of the Wonder Bread building in DC’s Shaw neighborhood. After starting 2014 with less than 35 full-time employees, ISL reports that it hit 60 staff and sees more growth and expansion coming in 2015.
The build out took around five months to complete, and ISL now has 18,000 sq ft of space, featuring, reports the agency, a Japanese nap pod installed above a wooden meditation cube, a fully-functioning workshop for hardware hacking, and a library with a secret door that opens into a design studio for content production.
In addition to conference rooms, the front of the new space doubles as an event venue, with plenty of room for 200-300+ events.
Although ISL has a continued focus on NYC and various international projects, Washington, D.C. stated the agency, will remain its HQ and the company’s core operation.
