PRSA “Best in Maryland” Awards Gala Set for Baltimore on Dec. 1

The PRSA Maryland chapter will hold its annual “Best in Maryland” awards program and holiday party on Dec. 1 at the Baltimore Hilton.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception followed by dinner and a keynote address from Justin Berk, right, president/owner of Just In Weather LLC, and former WBAL and WMAR meteorologist. Berk will discuss the transition from broadcast journalist/meteorologist to having an entirely digital presence.

The awards presentation segment of the gala will feature entries from 26 categories and multiple levels: Best In Maryland, Award Of Excellence and the top prize – Best In Show.

The chapter will also honor two individuals – Lifetime Achievement and Educator of the Year – and recognize the Partner of Distinction and New Pro of the Year.
