MDB Communications announced the expansion of its media team with the hiring of Kelsey Daddio (left in photo) as Media Planner/Buyer and Katie Waldner (right in photo) as Assistant Media Planner/Buyer.
Working closely with Carole Reuschle, VP, Media Director and MDB’s talented account service and creative teams, Kelsey and Katie will select, negotiate and purchase ad space in order to best connect with the target audiences of MDB clients, including DC Lottery, Destination DC and the Newseum.
Before joining the MDB team, Kelsey worked as an Assistant Media Buyer/Planner with Meridian Group, where she conducted research and executed media plans for clients in the travel, healthcare and automotive industries. Prior, Kelsey was an Assistant Media Buyer/Planner with Dave Iwans & Associates, where she managed planning and buys across the media spectrum.
Katie previously worked as an Assistant Associate, Public Affairs for CTIA Wireless, a trade association representing the wireless communication industry, including cellular, personal communication services and mobile radio. She also interned with the Department of Defense MWR Marketing & Public Relations Division, where she managed advertising campaigns, evaluated and approved ad copy.

Originally from Loudoun County, Kelsey graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.A. in Communications studies.
Hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, Katie attended Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia, where she graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies / English Communications.
