MGH in Baltimore announced it has earned the Best Ad Campaign accolade from City Paper’s 2014 Best of Baltimore list for its “Vacation Days” campaign created on behalf of longtime client Ocean City, Md., Department of Tourism.

The fully-integrated “Vacation Days” campaign, which launched this past spring, includes public relations, social media, billboards, and TV, print and digital advertising. The TV ads feature actors portraying vacation days being used for mundane tasks like cleaning the garage, visiting the doctor or waiting for the cable guy, and remind people that their time off should be used for an actual vacation – a day at the beach.

For the past 12 years, MGH has worked with Ocean City in a full-service capacity and has created several award-winning campaigns for the destination, including its End of the World campaign and campaigns involving Spokesguard, Rodney. In July, MGH announced that its contract with Ocean City has been extended for three years, through 2017.
