On June 26, Design Army co-founder and CCO Pum Lefebure took to the Debussy stage at Cannes Lions – the annual international festival of creativity – to discuss the transformative power of simple design. In a presentation entitled “Silencing The Noise Through Simple Design,” Lefebure and co-presenter Nathan Iverson of Deutsch LA explored the mantra of “less is more” as it relates to design and marketing, evangelizing the power of straightforward, streamlined design that makes consumers’ lives easier.

Lefebure’s share of the presentation delved into how brands can better equip themselves for the future, primarily by adopting a strategy and philosophy of simplicity. In her words, “it’s time for brands to trim the fat, cut the crap, and stop the storytelling.”

The presentation was at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
