Raffetto Herman Strategic Communications announced that Jen Bemisderfer has been named managing director for the firm’s D.C. office. Bemisderfer, stated a release, “is a D.C. technology PR insider, whose career spans multiple well-respected PR agencies, in-house communications at the Consumer Electronics Association, and communications and media relations for the Technology CEO Council.” She is also the Accreditation Co-Chair for the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

In addition, Sarah Horowitz, former deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Commerce, joined the firm as a senior account executive; and Kevin Eike, formerly with Ketchum, joined RH Strategic as account executive.

In addition to D.C., the firm has an office in Seattle.
