Rebuilding Baltimore’s image following the recent civil unrest is one of the themes of the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Marketing Summit (MAMS), set for Sept. 30, 2015, at Pier Five Hotel in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

Two in-depth sessions during the daylong summit will provide updates on recent developments in Baltimore.  One session,  “My Baltimore Campaign, Before and After the Civil Unrest” features Sam Rogers, chief marketing officer, VisitBaltimore; and Casey Rhoads, VP and account director, TBC Advertising. The second session, “The Aftermath of the ‘Uprising’ and Baltimore’s Image,” moderated by Ron Owens, president of Ron Owens & Associates, includes Jacquelyn Caldwell, president of the Greater Mondawmin Coordinating Council; and, Lisa M. Schroeder, president and CEO of Parks & People Foundation. Before joining Parks & People Foundation in Baltimore,  Schroeder led the growth of a Pittsburgh nonprofit called Riverlife, from a start-up into a civic force responsible for the redevelopment of 63 additional acres of green landscapes, trails and bridge connections on Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.
