We are proud to see one of our own recognized with this prestigious honor. Congratulations, Chloé!”
The Internship Award is part of NASCAR’s Diversity Awards that recognizes people and organizations within the motorsports industry whose dedication to diversity is indicative of the evolving face of motorsports and emphasizes the importance of inclusion. NASCAR grants its Diversity Internship Program Award to the promising student who helped NASCAR to embrace the unprecedented opportunities women and multicultural individuals have across all disciplines in the motorsport industry.
Kerr received her award at the 8th NASCAR Diversity Awards at the Daytona International Speedway on February 20.
“Chloe Kerr made immediate, meaningful contributions to NASCAR’s integrated marketing communications team during her internship,” said Paula Miller, NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “Her professionalism, work ethic, and enthusiasm – valuable qualities we seek on our team – will continue to define Chloe’s future success.”
Kerr is currently a member of Sage Communications’ public relations team, providing support to clients in the security, satellite and workforce management industries. She is also a graduate student at Georgetown University, pursuing a degree in corporate communications.
