Sage Communications – the leading technology, B2B, public sector and nonprofit communications firm in Greater Washington D.C. – hired Ruth Song as Director of Business Development and Client Services.

In her new role, she aims to grow the non-governmental organization (NGO) and professional association sectors of Sage’s business.

“Sage’s footprint in professional associations and NGOs show great promise for community-oriented organizations across the DMV area,” said Song. “I hope to help Sage align its business resources to help these organizations prosper.”

Song is a business development expert with more than 15 years of industry experience. She comes to Sage after working on several major branding and cause campaigns, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, National Retail Federation, National Association of Corporate Directors, Association of Corporate Counsel, American Pharmacists Association, US Water Alliance, and Priorities USA Action. Before working with NGOs and professional associations, Ruth worked with nonprofit and arts organizations in the Washington, D.C., area including the National Gallery of Art, The Phillips Collection, and Wolf Trap Foundation.

“Ruth’s experience will help us continue to mature the growing sector of our business that focuses on mission-oriented clients,” said David Gorodetski, Co-Founder, COO and Executive Creative Director of Sage Communications, a Capitol Communicator sponsor. “We are thrilled about this new facet of our business.”
