Shawn DuBravac, Ph.D., the chief economist and senior director of research for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), where he helps direct CEA’s economic analysis and market research initiatives will keynote at the Campaigns and Marketing Summit on Nov. 13 at the National Press Club.
DuBravac speech will be centered around his book Digital Destiny: How the New Age of Data Will Transform the Way We Work, Live, and Communicate (Regnery, 2015), which explores how the world’s mass adoption of digital technologies portends the beginning of a new era for humanity in the realms of economics, health, travel and culture.
The full-day Campaigns and Marketing Summit will bring together marketers and communications executives from the political, technology and brand communities to discuss their common tactics, strategies, tools and platforms. It is the first major conference to bring together both brand and political marketers.
The summit’s fusion in both panels and networking will result in fresh ideas and new insights as these two communities share their best practices. With over a dozen panel discussions on social, mobile, data, digital advertising, analytics and more, attendees will gain insights into the wave of change and innovation coming to marketing and social media in 2016.
The event is being presented by Capitol Communicator, the region’s preeminent marketing and communications publisher; Potomac Tech Wire, covering the business of technology; and Campaigns & Elections, the leading “how-to” resource for politics, focused on the tools, tactics and techniques of the political consulting profession.
