United Bank Launches New Website Designed and Built by Carousel30

by | Nov 29, 2016

Carousel30, a strategic digital agency based in the Washington, D.C., region, partnered with United Bank to launch the new bankwithunited.com website. United Bank is a rapidly growing bank with headquarters in Virginia and West Virginia, and locations in D.C., Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania. With over 129 branch locations and employing 1,700 financial professionals, the bank has continued to expand in key markets.

Carousel30 worked closely with United Bank to create a strategy that improved and prioritized the user experience throughout the website design and development process. The new website provides streamlined access for customers to manage their accounts online as well as get information about branch locations, personal and business banking services and wealth management. The new website is mobile responsive, providing customers the ability to interact with United Bank from their mobile device of choice, an optimization that has become a necessity in this mobile-centric world. The Drupal Content Management System that the website is based on provides United Bank with a long-term technology solution that allows for the growth and expansion of their online presence.

The new website is an important part of United Bank’s growth and expansion strategy. “At United, we are constantly striving to exceed customer expectations when it comes to their banking experience and service level. We believe our company website plays a major role in communicating with and servicing our customers,” President of United Bank Richard M. Adams, Jr. said. “With the redesign, not only did we update the look and feel of our site, but we also created a platform that is conducive to future functionality and service enhancements.”

Carousel30 worked with the United Bank team on all aspects of this project including strategy development, user experience, design, copywriting and implementation of the final product. Carousel30 understands the importance of creating a cohesive product in order to best engage customers. United Bank’s website allowed Carousel30 to work from start to finish to ensure that the goals of United Bank, and their customers, were met by all aspects of the new website. As a key part of United Bank’s marketing and customer experience strategy, the new website assists with customer acquisition and retention, and supports the organization’s growth.

United Bank’s website has allowed Carousel30, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, to showcase its ability to create a streamlined user experience that enhances customers’ online experience with the bank. “Our experience and expertise in both website user experience, and creating compelling online presences for financial institutions provided a strong foundation for our work with United Bank. We’re excited to provide an improved and engaging new website for this great bank brand that is committed to providing the best service to its customers,” Carousel30 CEO Greg Kihlström said. With the launch of the new United Bank website, Carousel30 continues to play an integral role in the creative and technological development in the financial services industry.
