Washington DC Economic Partnership Unveils Refreshed Brand Identity

The Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) has unveiled a refreshed brand identity that consists of a new logo, color palette, brand guidelines and website design.

The updated design, states a release, “incorporates WDCEP’s key brand pillars – influence, accuracy, independent and dynamic – and aligns with its newer programs and campaigns including We DC, Entrepreneur Road Map, and Accelerate DC with a contemporary font, color, and logo mark.”

“WDCEP’s core purpose is to actively position, promote, and support economic development and business opportunities in Washington, DC. It is our goal that the presentation of our organization conveys WDCEP’s voice across all channels,” said Keith Sellars, president and CEO. “With our updated visuals, we present WDCEP as a strong and knowledgeable organization whose primary goal is to expand the economic ecosystem of this wonderful city.”

The Washington DC Economic Partnership’s primary initiatives include:

  • Promoting and marketing Washington, DC, for economic development
  • Real estate and development
  • Office and corporate attraction and retention
  • Small business and entrepreneurship
  • Hi-technology organizations and technology start-ups

WDCEP’s will present and discuss its new brand at the upcoming Annual Meeting and Economic Showcase, taking place on October 30 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. During the meeting, WDCEP will also present the first-ever We DC awards honoring and recognizing leaders that have contributed to the city’s economic ecosystem
