Washington Post Promotes Kate Davey and Miki King to VP

by | Jan 9, 2018

The Washington Post promoted Kate Davey in Client Solutions to Vice President, Revenue Strategy. According to The Post, Davey, a former Eugene Meyer Award winner, “joined The Post’s Finance organization in 2000 as an intern, moving through progressively responsible positions including manager- and director-level roles before transferring to Advertising (now Client Solutions) in 2010. Since that time, she has become the go-to person in Client Solutions on a wide array of fronts, from service to project management to analytics to budgeting to technology. In this Executive-level VP role, Kate will continue reporting to Jed Hartman, Chief Revenue Officer, and doing the superb work that has made such a difference in his organization over so many years. We are excited to welcome Kate to the Executive team and look forward to her continued success and contributions.

“Additionally, and after a year of exceptional success with the growth of our digital subscriptions business, we are expanding Miki King’s role to that of Vice President, Marketing. With this expansion, all marketing functions outside of Client Solutions now report to Miki. Her consistent record of leading high-performing teams, executing large-scale projects, and driving business growth has turned a critical area of our business into a runaway success, and we look forward to more in 2018. Miki has been an essential part of the Executive team since joining The Post two years ago, and will continue reporting to Steve Gibson, CFO and VP, Finance & Operations.”
