Sage Communications added five new sports and entertainment contract wins through its Brotman|Winter|Fried division. The new accounts include The AT&T Nation’s Football Classic, The Army Ten-Miler, The Navy Mile Road Race, The 2016 U.S. Figure Skating Regional Championships and The USA Hockey High School National Championships.
With these new sports-related contracts Sage now boasts an active roster of 18 sports and entertainment accounts, establishing its position as one of the area’s leading agencies for sports and entertainment public relations, marketing and special event management.
In addition to the five new accounts, Sage is providing public relations, media outreach and event promotion for the 2015 World Police & Fire Games to be held on June 26-July 5. After working on the project for 18 months, Sage has been confirmed as both a sponsor and the agency of record.
“For years, the name Brotman|Winter|Fried was synonymous with sports and entertainment, having handled and represented many of the landmark events for which this town is known,” said Sage CEO Larry Rosenfeld. “Thanks to the continued growth of many of those campaigns, spurred by the addition of a dozen more new projects over the past three years, we can confidently say that Sage is truly the Washington-area’s market leader in sports and entertainment.”
The agency, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, continues to provide ongoing services on an annual basis for such events as D.C. United SoccerFest, Ice Champions Live!, the Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships, and Jimmy Lange professional fight cards. The agency has also spearheaded campaigns for the Washington, D.C. Jazz Festival, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the Travel Adventure Show and the S&R Foundation.
