Yes& established the Edith Bullard Fellowship for Racial and Ethnic Diversity. According to the agency, the fellowship “encourages professionals with diverse backgrounds and from communities of color to enter the field of marketing, to lend their unique perspectives, and to advance their career aspirations. This new annual, school year-long, paid fellowship deepens the Yes& commitment to diversity and inclusion in the industry.

“The fellowship recognizes a long-time member of the Yes& leadership team, Edith M. Bullard-Britt. Edith recently retired from agency life, joining the ACLU of Virginia as Director of Communications. There she will pursue personal passions, including voter enfranchisement and prison reform.”

“Her whole career serves as a demonstration of how much better our companies can be, and how much richer our lives can be, when we are inclusive and diverse. She has brought that awareness not only to Yes&, but also to the clients and volunteer organizations she has served,” said Bob Sprague, Yes& president & CEO

Dasia Braxton, a Senior at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business, has begun this Fall as the first Bullard Fellow. Braxton is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing

Capitol Communicator posted a profile of Bullard in January 2019 which you can find here.

Yes& is a Capitol Communicator sponsor.
