2026 Prediction: Agentic orchestration and reassertion of the human voice

By Josh Greene, CEO, The Mather Group

We see two major trends in 2026. They are Agentic Orchestration and the Reassertion of the Human Voice.

We’ll see a lot of publicity around Specialized Agents that can execute complex, role-specific workflows, shifting the human role from task supervisor to strategic director. However, this same saturation, and concurrent proliferation of AI-generated content (or “slop”) will create a massive opportunity for the human voice.

In an age of algorithm-driven homogeneity, authenticity, nuance, and grounded leadership will be a true competitive advantage. This includes a return to thoughtful, high-quality third-party earned media and the rise of micro-influencers as trusted sources.

To navigate the AI world, doubling down on the one thing a model cannot replicate is essential: human judgment and a real point of view.
