Al Jackson joined Spectrum to lead the Spectrum Science Public Affairs practice. According to a statement about his appointment, “With his experience and understanding of healthcare policy and bevy of relationships in the nation’s capital, Al Jackson is a preeminent public affairs counselor and we’re thrilled to welcome him to the Spectrum team,” said Jonathan Wilson, Spectrum president.
Jackson has led public affairs and advocacy program for biopharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, professional societies, trade associations, consumer brands and patient advocacy groups. He has worked at both the American Hospital and American Medical associations. He is a frequent speaker, writer and blogger on the nexus of politics, policy and healthcare.
“We are excited that Al is joining us to build on the work we’ve done over 20 years and broaden the agency’s public affairs offering,” said John Seng, Spectrum’s founder. “He has a deep understanding of how Washington works, how regulations are made and legislation is passed.”
