Fixation Marketing in Bethesda added two staff members to its account services team. Julie Parsons, account manager, will run point for three of Fixation’s accounts: Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI). As project coordinator, Brittany Tevis will work closely with both the account and creative services teams to traffic workflow and keep all incoming and outgoing projects organized. Parsons joins Fixation with more than 15 years of experience as a marketing executive in the association and trade show industry, including 10 years as a Fixation client. Prior to joining Fixation, Tevis tapped into her passion for customer service by developing and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals as a research assistant for CoStar Group.
Crosby Marketing Communications in Annapolis promoted Matthew Kaler and Anthony Manzanares to senior visual artist. Kaler has more than 20 years of experience as an illustrator and graphic designer. Since joining Crosby in 2000, Kaler has worked on a number of accounts including The Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Kaiser Permanente and DuPont. Manzanares has been with Crosby since 2006.
Weitzman in Annapolis announced that Heather Haffner has joined as a senior account executive. Haffner previously managed her own design studio.
TorchLight Hire, LLC, a marketing and communications search and staffing agency, announced that Beth Ranzer has joined the Alexandria, VA, firm as account director and Julie Lowe has been promoted to vice president. Ranzer joins from CMG Partners, where she advised clients including NII, Verisign, Blackboard, Ellucian and others on projects ranging from marketing and brand strategy development to campaign planning and execution to creation and refinement of online and offline marketing programs.
