Cision to Retire Vocus Name
Last year, when Cision, Vocus and Visible Technologies became one company, they said the combined entity would move forward as Cision. Now, Cision announced that the time has come to retire the Vocus company name: but it will continue to provide, support and enhance Vocus products, including the Vocus PR Suite under the Cision umbrella.
Moving forward, the Vocus website will integrate with the Cision website combining white papers, tip sheets, pitch kits, reports and webinars in one central location. Since they combined blogs in October, they report they have become “one of the most visited PR news outlets in the world!”
In two other Cision updates, they said that all their employees will begin using @cision.com email addresses, but emails to @vocus.com will continue to forward; and, the company is consolidating social media channels.
