by | Nov 12, 2015

Approximately 250 people are expected to attend a luncheon on Friday, Nov. 13, where Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) will name its Washington PR Woman of the Year.   Established in 1990 as WWPR’s signature event, the luncheon honors “the achievements of those women who are raising the bar in public relations.”  The event is set for the Fairmont hotel, 2401 M St NW, Washington, D.C.

The finalists for WWPR’s 2015 Washington PR Woman of the Year Award are:

  • Carrie Fox, president of Fox Communications (center in photo)
  • Christina Nicols, senior vice president and director of strategic planning and research at Hager Sharp (right in photo)
  • Lisa Throckmorton, chief operations officer at Speakerbox (left in photo).

(All three finalists have been featured in Capitol Communicator’s Profile section.)

Kelly Parisi, vice president of marketing and communications, Lean In, will give keynote remarks.
