The Pinkston Group, a public relations firm based in Alexandria, acquired web design company Burst Creative, which is based in Northern Virginia, and launched Pinkston Digital, a digital media services agency.

Kevin Barr, founder and president of Burst Creative, will serve as Pinkston Digital’s director of digital services. For more than seven years, Barr and his team provided clients with web design, development and search engine optimization. Pinkston Digital will expand to offer other owned digital media capabilities, including video production and photography, stated a release.

Barr’s current web design and development staff will transition to Pinkston Digital, providing a seamless transition for their existing clients and ensuring Pinkston Digital can begin serving new clients immediately. Videographer Nick Pisciottawill join Pinkston Digital as digital media producer, and applications are being accepted for new designer positions.
