Aaron Guiterman to lead EGA’s U.S. public affairs operation

EGA, Edelman’s Government and Public Affairs business unit, adds Aaron Guiterman as head of its U.S. Public Affairs operation. A former nine-year veteran of Edelman, states a release, he will manage a team of experts across the U.S. to provide globally integrated business and government advisory services. EGA’s U.S. team supports a deep bench of clients to effectively navigate and leverage government policies, international institutions, and evolving geopolitical dynamics. Guiterman will report to Rob Rehg, Global Chair – Client & Services, EGA.

Guiterman returns to EGA from BCW where he has served as the EVP, Market Leader for their Washington, D.C., office. Previously at Edelman, Guiterman oversaw Energy and Industrials Policy and served as Chief Innovation Officer, within EGA. He also held various roles including head of Digital Public Affairs, and Group Director of Strategy and Planning at Edelman.

Before Guiterman joined Edelman, states the release, he was Vice President, Digital Strategy with DDC Advocacy for three years. Prior to that, he worked at several agencies including Glover Park Group, McCann Erickson and Young & Rubicam Advertising. Guiterman’s career began in the office of U.S. Senator Hank Brown of Colorado, where he was an intern.
